General warranty overview
At SBL Container, we stand for tested quality and durable products. Therefore, you receive a product-specific warranty
on all containers we sell , which varies depending on the container type and condition.
Warranty for new containers (one-way or brand new).
Warranty period: 24 months from delivery date
Covered are:Structural defects (frames, walls, doors, roof, floor)
Tightness (wind and water resistance)
Refrigeration units for refrigerated containers (compressor, control)
Not covered are:Damage caused by improper handling
Paint damage caused by third parties or site conditions
Wear and tear due to normal use
Damage caused by force majeure (e.g. storm, hail, fire)

Functionality of doors, latches & seals
Not covered are:Visual defects or signs of wear (rust, dents, paint)
Mechanical damage after handover
Failures due to third-party use (e.g. modifications without consultation)

Specific: Warranty for refrigeration units
Only for new or as good as new refrigerated containers
Warranty period: up to

Condition: The unit must be verifiably operated according to the manufacturer’s specifications and regularly maintained
Not covered: failures due to incorrect power supply, overload, lack of maintenance, frost damage or modifications

How to apply for a warranty claim
Contact: By email or WhatsApp stating:
Order number / invoice number
Description of the problem (text + photos/videos if necessary)
Date of occurrence
Inspection & initial assessment: Our team examines the reported damage and decides whether:
a repair can be carried out on site
an exchange is necessary
a partial refund makes sense
Implementation:Repairs are carried out by our team of technicians or external partners
Spare parts or replacement delivery will be organized as quickly as possible
In case of irreparable defects: credit note or return after consultation
